Finalmente

Finally, plenty of shards. A fresh new area in the Risco Bronze Age settlement site. This time, we found a huge concentration of pottery, on surface in some spots affected by erosion.
Actually, the "site" has been first identified, by one of our collaborators (Teresa Mateus) by the side of the path leading from the road (Sesimbra-Portinho da Arrábida) to the valley of the Prados.

In the Google Earth image: 1. Marmita do Gigante; 2. The area with the biggest concentration of pottery.
The yellow areas correspond to the confirmed Bronze Age pottery dispersion. Note the difficulties imposed by the dense vegetation.
